Hampus Lindholm may not be old enough to have a legal drink in California, but he has shown fans that he is old enough to be a rock star on and off of the ice. Last year, he played in 78 games with 6 goals and 24 assists, making his inaugural season one for the books. There is no "sophomore slump" for this Swede; he has played in 23 games thus far with 2 goals and 5 assists.
Lindholm’s performance on the ice is not the only thing about him that the Ducks are proud of. To fans, he is known for his compassionate and thoughtful personality. Two fans in particular were featured in a Ducks Off The Ice article about their experience with Hampus during a tough time in their lives. They raved about his kindness and positive representation of the Ducks organization at that time.
Ducks fans’ newest favorite player has some favorites of his own. Although he enjoys eating Chipotle when he’s on American soil, his favorite food of all time is a Swedish meatball dish that he likes to eat when he visits his hometown in the summer. He is also fond of the Liverpool soccer club and the TV show, Blue Mountain State.
