Jean-Sebastien Dea - Signs with German club Dea agreed to terms on a one-year contract with DEL team Eisbaren Berlin on Wednesday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.

Impact Dea spent the last three seasons playing in the KHL, including making 16 appearances for KHL Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik this year before agreeing to a move to Germany. The 31-year-old Dea last logged an NHL game back in 2022-23 when he was with Arizona. At this point, Dea shouldn't be expected back in North America any time soon.

Steven Kampfer - Hanging up skates Kampfer has officially retired from professional hockey, according to the NHL Alumni X account.

Impact After a career spanning four franchises, 11 NHL seasons and 231 NHL games, Kampfer is officially calling it a career. The 36-year-old, who spent the majority of his time in the league with the Bruins, last played in the NHL in 2020, and he has spent the last four seasons between the AHL and KHL. The 2022 Olympian scored 15 goals and added 24 assists in the NHL, winning the Stanley Cup in 2011 with Boston.

Loui Eriksson - Hangs up skates Eriksson announced his retirement from the NHL on Monday following a 16-year career spanning four teams.

Impact Eriksson most recently played with Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League during the 2022-23 season. The 39-year-old compiled 253 goals and 613 points across 1050 regular-season games with the Stars, Bruins, Canucks and Coyotes. The left-shot winger added six goals and eight helpers across 44 playoff games.

Steven Kampfer - Signs with KHL club Kampfer signed a one-year contract with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL on Monday.

Impact Kampfer registered three goals and 22 points in 45 regular-season appearances for AHL Tucson in 2023-24. The 35-year-old blueliner has 15 goals and 24 assists in 231 career NHL contests.
