Kaiden Guhle - Plucks apple Saturday Guhle logged an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Impact Guhle set up Alexandre Texier in the second period. This was Guhle's first point to go with four shots on net, 10 hits, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-1 rating over four outings since he returned from a groin injury. The defenseman has some value through physicality, but he's reached the 20-point mark just once in the first four campaigns of his career, so there's not a lot of scoring upside here.

Alexandre Carrier - Registers two assists Carrier recorded two assists, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Impact Carrier hadn't gotten on the scoresheet since Opening Night, though he did have an injury scare earlier in October. The 30-year-old defenseman has a goal, three assists, 10 shots on net, 14 blocked shots, six hits, six PIM and a plus-3 rating over eight appearances. In deeper fantasy formats, Carrier is a solid source of blocks with a little bit of depth scoring.

Juraj Slafkovský - Supplies two more helpers Slafkovsky notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added two PIM and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Impact Slafkovsky has four helpers, including two on the power play, over his last three games. The offense is still a work in progress this season for the 22-year-old, but he should find his way as long as he remains on the top line. He has five points, 23 shots, seven hits, six PIM, five blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over eight appearances.

Alexandre Texier - Finds twine Saturday Texier scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Impact Texier's tally was his first goal this season. The 27-year-old has filled a middle-six role with power-play time so far, but he's not showing a lot of consistency on offense, though he has taken multiple shots in four straight games. He's at three points, 13 shots, 10 hits, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over eight appearances.

Zachary Bolduc - Scores in OT win Saturday Bolduc scored a goal on five shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Impact Bolduc continued his impressive early-season scoring form and has four goals already. Goals aside, Bolduc also set a new season-high mark in shots on goal with five, and he's attempted at least two shots in five of his eight contests. His recent finishing ability gives him considerable upside in deeper fantasy leagues, especially if his role continues to expand. He's also riding an interesting three-game point streak, with one goal and two assists in that span.

Cole Caufield - Scores twice, including OT winner Caufield scored two goals on five shots, including the game-winner in overtime, in Saturday's 4-3 victory over the Sabres.

Impact Caufield continued his strong start to the season, bringing his goal total to five through eight games. The 25-year-old winger scored his second goal just 54 seconds into overtime, extending his franchise record to 14 regular-season overtime goals. His consistent scoring production and prominent offensive role make him one of Montreal's most valuable fantasy assets, but the lack of consistency has been an issue. While he has five goals in eight games, he's also failed to crack the scoresheet in five of those outings.

Jacob Fowler - Makes 23 saves in overtime victory Fowler stopped 23 of 26 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Impact Fowler secured his second victory against Buffalo in five days despite posting a modest save percentage. The young netminder has now started four of Montreal's last five games, suggesting he's establishing himself as a significant part of the team's goaltending rotation, although the uptick in playing time is also driven by the absence of Sam Montembeault (lower body). His recent workload is encouraging for fantasy managers seeking starts and wins, although his performance Saturday highlights the potential volatility in his save percentage. He has a shutout in four outings, but in the other three, he's not posted a save percentage above .885.

Luke Mittelstadt - Continues early surge Mittelstadt scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Laval's 4-0 win over Utica on Saturday.

Impact Mittelstadt now has four goals and nine assists over six games. No one will sustain a pace like that, even in the AHL. That said, racking up four three-point efforts over such a span is an impressive feat, especially for a player that has just 20 games of experience at the level between the regular season and playoffs.

Impact Matheson also missed Montreal's previous two games. He has an assist, six PIM, two hits and 10 blocks in five appearances in 2026-27. Matheson should reclaim a top-four spot once he's ready to return.
