Phillip Danault - Deposits shorthanded empty-netter Danault scored a shorthanded empty-net goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Impact Danault's three goals this season have all come within the last eight games. The 32-year-old looks comfortable in a bottom-six role for the Canadiens. He's earned nine points in 21 outings since he was dealt away from the Kings, and the center has a total of 14 goals, 73 shots on net, 40 hits, 29 blocked shots and 20 PIM over 51 appearances this season.

Oliver Kapanen - Nets equalizer Kapanen scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Impact Kapanen has two goals and two assists over his last four games. The 22-year-old has impressed as a rookie with 18 goals, 31 points, 102 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 21 hits and a plus-5 rating in 57 appearances. He'll be in Italy for the Olympics as a member of Team Finland.

Lane Hutson - Bends twine in win Hutson scored a goal, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Impact Hutson has a goal and four assists during his four-game point streak. The 21-year-old defenseman reached the 10-goal mark for the season with this tally. He's added 48 assists, 16 power-play points, 91 shots on net, 90 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-22 rating over 57 appearances. Hutson has quickly established himself as one of the top fantasy blueliners in the league in his two NHL seasons.

Noah Dobson - Two-point effort Wednesday Dobson delivered two assists in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Impact The former Islander helped set up the Canadiens' first and last goals of the night. Dobson heads into the Olympic break riding a five-game point streak in which he's produced a goal and seven points, and through his first 57 games with Montreal he's racked up 10 goals, 38 points, 139 blocked shots, 114 shots on net, 39 hits, 28 PIM and a plus-12 rating.

Brendan Gallagher - Three points against Jets Gallagher scored a power-play goal and added two even-strength assists in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Winnipeg.
Impact The 33--year-old winger had a hand in three straight goals by the Habs, wrapping up his big night with his second power-play tally of the season midway through the third period. Gallagher is no longer much of an offensive threat and has settled into a bottom-six role, putting up six goals and 19 points through 57 games so far in 2025-26.

Josh Anderson - Three-point effort in win Anderson scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in Wednesday's 5-1 victory over the Jets.
Impact The rugged winger gave the Habs a 2-1 lead early in the second period by tipping home a point shot by Jayden Struble. The GWG was Anderson's first of the season, and the three-point performance was also a season best. He heads into the Olympic break with 12 goals, 20 points, 95 hits, 63 shots on net, 44 PIM, 30 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 51 games.

Samuel Montembeault - Sharp in Wednesday's win Montembeault made 36 saves in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
Impact Kyle Connor scored a power-play tally early in the first period, but Montembeault shut the door the rest of the way as the Canadiens took control. The 29-year-old netminder is likely looking forward to the Olympic break, having gone 2-2-1 over his last five starts with a 3.20 GAA and .893 save percentage.
