Kevin Lankinen - Won't play Wednesday
Lankinen is not expected to suit up against the Jets on Wednesday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.
Impact
Lankinen is still making his way back from Milan after taking part in the Winter Olympics with Finland. The Canucks recalled Nikita Tolopilo from AHL Abbotsford on Monday, though whether Tolopilo or Jiri Patera gets the nod versus Winnipeg remains to be seen. Even with the travel delays, Lankinen should be back in time to get the nod on the road versus Seattle on Saturday.

Arshdeep Bains - Two goals in Friday's AHL loss
Bains scored twice in AHL Abbotsford's 6-3 loss to Henderson on Friday.
Impact
Bains has split time between the NHL and AHL this season. He's been productive for Abbotsford with eight goals and six assists in 17 contests, including eight points in his last 12 outings. Should the Canucks sell off forwards ahead of the trade deadline, Bains would be a top candidate for a call-up.

Kieren Dervin - One of each Friday
Dervin scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Kingston's 5-1 win over North Bay on Friday.
Impact
Dervin has four multi-point efforts over his last 11 games, totaling four goals and six assists in that span. The Canucks prospect has a total of 13 goals and 21 helpers through 43 outings this season, but he's cooled down after a strong start to the campaign.

Filip Chytil - Suffers facial fracture
Chytil sustained a facial fracture when he was struck by the puck during Wednesday's practice, and he's out indefinitely, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports Friday.
Impact
Chytil didn't play in Feb. 4's 5-2 loss to Vegas because of migraines. It's not clear if his migraine issues are behind him, but the facial fracture is expected to keep him out for a considerable amount of time, regardless. Chytil has made just 12 appearances this campaign, primarily because of injury issues, and he's consequently been limited to three goals, six PIM and 24 shots in 2025-26.

Lukas Reichel - Two-point effort in loss
Reichel scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Germany's 6-2 loss to Slovakia in the quarterfinals of the Olympic men's hockey tournament Wednesday.
Impact
The 23-year-old Canucks winger couldn't prevent Germany from getting eliminated, but Reichel came up with his best performance of the tournament when it mattered most. Reichel recorded two goals and three points in five games during his first Olympics, and he'll head back to AHL Abbotsford to resume his season.

Filip Chytil - Being evaluated
Chytil, who missed Feb. 4's 5-2 loss to Vegas because of migraines, exited Wednesday's practice after being struck in the head by a snap shot, per Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com.
Impact
Chytil will undergo X-rays. It's not clear if he has recovered from his migraine issue, so this head injury might be in addition to his existing problem. Chytil has three goals in 12 outings with Vancouver in 2025-26.

The 22-year-old forward has picked up six points over his last four games. Mueller's played well recently, but he's still awaiting his first call-up of the campaign.

Lekkerimaki scored twice in AHL Abbotsford's 5-3 win over Ontario on Monday.

Elias Pettersson - Lights lamp twice in Saturday's win
Pettersson scored two goals, one the game-winner, in Sweden's 5-3 victory over Slovakia in Olympic round-robin play Saturday.
Impact
After putting Sweden in the lead for good with a tally late in the second period, Pettersson made it 4-2 midway through the third. The points were the first of the tournament for the Canucks star, but they may not have been enough to ensure a bye into the quarterfinals for Sweden, who could be forced to play a qualification game Tuesday.
