Roy Lopez - Heading to Arizona Lopez signed a two-year, $11.5 million contract with the Cardinals on Monday that includes $7 million guaranteed, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Lopez served in a rotational role on the defensive line for the Lions in 2025, but the 2021 sixth-rounder could serve in a larger role with the Cardinals if Calais Campbell -- who is an unrestricted free agent -- does not return. Lopez recorded 30 tackles (11 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one pass defense across 17 regular-season games for Detroit in 2025. It'll be his second stint in Arizona, having played with the Cardinals from 2023 to 2024.

Impact Bourne's pending addition brings a more reliable No. 3 WR to Arizona than Greg Dortch, who is an unrestricted free agent. In 16 regular-season games in 2025, Bourne filled in nicely in a 49ers receiving corps beset by injuries, finishing with 37 catches (on 53 targets) for 551 yards and no touchdowns. Impact Allgeier moves on from Atlanta after four seasons to join a Cardinals backfield that also houses veteran James Conner (foot) and 2024 third-round pick Trey Benson (knee), providing new head coach Mike LaFleur with the ammunition to deploy what may be a run-heavy offense in the wake of quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) expectedly departing. Across his tenure with the Falcons, Allgeier solidified himself as a reliable between-the-tackles runner despite being overshadowed by superstar Bijan Robinson. Given that both Conner and Benson are coming off injury-riddled 2025 campaigns and Allgeier has suited up for all 17 regular-season games in three consecutive years, he seems the most suited to handle workhorse carries in Arizona, should LaFleur want to deploy an every-down No. 1 backfield option reminiscent of his time as the Rams' offensive coordinator. Full clarity regarding the Cardinals' backfield rotation may not arrive until later in the offseason, however.
