Jake Ferguson - Just three grabs in Sunday's loss
Ferguson caught three of four targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers.
Impact
For the second straight game and the fourth time in the last eight contests, Ferguson failed to reach 20 receiving yards. After a fantastic start to the season, the fourth-year tight end has faded away, managing a poor 29-155-1 line on 40 targets during that eight-game span. He'll look to find a spark in Week 17 against the Commanders.

George Pickens - Bounces back in loss to Bolts
Pickens caught seven of nine targets for 130 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers.
Impact
After a three-game stretch in which Pickens had posted a 14-158-0 line on 28 targets while CeeDee Lamb took center stage in the Cowboys' aerial attack, Pickens surged back to the fore Sunday, capping his fifth 100-yard performance of the season with a 38-yard TD strike from Dak Prescott in the second quarter. Pickens has already put together a career-best campaign with 88 catches on 129 targets for 1,342 yards and nine touchdowns, and he'll look to stay locked in against the Commanders in Week 17.

CeeDee Lamb - Limited yardage in Week 16 loss
Lamb caught six of seven targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers.
Impact
After three straight 100-yard performances, Lamb took a back seat to George Pickens (7-130-1 on nine targets) as the talented receiving duo continue to swap back and forth which of them is Dak Prescott's favorite. Lamb did reach 1,000 yards on the season Sunday, the fifth straight campaign he's hit that milestone, and he'll take a 69-1,027-3 line on 106 targets through 12 games into a Week 17 tilt against the Commanders.

Javonte Williams - Bottled up by Bolts
Williams carried the ball nine times for 34 yards and caught two of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers.
Impact
The 43 scrimmage yards represented his second-lowest output of the season, ahead of only the 34 yards he eked out against the Panthers in Week 6. Williams has already put together the best season of his career with 1,147 yards and 10 TDs on the ground and a 35-137-2 line on 49 targets through the air, and he'll look to add to those totals in Week 17 against the Commanders.

Dak Prescott - Can't maintain quick start in loss
Prescott completed 21 of 30 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers. He added 14 rushing yards on two carries.
Impact
The veteran quarterback led the Cowboys to points on their first three drives, hitting Ryan Flournoy (knee) for a TD in the first quarter and finding George Pickens for a 38-yard score in the second, but the Chargers defense shut him down the rest of the way. With Dallas already eliminated from the playoffs, Joe Milton took over at QB for the team's final two possessions, and he could sub in for Prescott more frequently over the final two weeks. Prescott will still take a strong 28:10 TD:INT on the season into a Week 17 clash with the Commanders.
