Impact Bonner was held to single-digit points Sunday after scoring 13 in Saturday's regular-season opener against the Aces, but she still generated plenty of production in other areas. Bonner finished second on the team in rebounds and has now logged 15 boards across her first two appearances of the regular season. Bonner averaged 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game across 24 regular-season appearances with the Mercury in 2025 and should have ample opportunities to contribute in 2026, especially since Satou Sabally (illness) is now in New York.

Impact Copper wasn't particularly efficient from the floor during Sunday's matchup, but she was still one of four starters to score in double figures for the Mercury in the loss. The 31-year-old has shot just 1-for-9 from beyond the arc and has totaled just one rebound over her first two regular-season appearances in 2026, but she should have plenty of opportunities to right the ship as the season progresses, especially since Satou Sabally (illness) departed for New York during the offseason.

The 28-year-old rookie from Serbia has managed 17.5 ppg through the first two games, while going 4-5 3PT in each of those games. She is a tremendous addition for her perimeter shooting, too.

Impact The 34-year-old just missed a triple-double by one rebound, which more than makes up for six turnovers. She is off to a tremendous start through two games, going for 19.5 ppg, 10.0 apg and 7.5 rpg, and she has hit 52.9 percent or better from the field in each of those outings. Thomas, Kahleah Copper and Natasha Mack comprise a solid Big Three in the Valley of Sun heading into the rest of 2026.
