GAME LOG

Natasha Mack - Still out Mack (back) won't play in Thursday's game against Golden State, Desert Wave Media reports.
Impact Mack's 2025 debut will be pushed back at least one more game due to her lingering back injury. She remains without a timetable for return, but her next chance to do so will come Saturday against Seattle.
JUNE 5 • ROTOWIRE
Megan McConnell - Ruled out Thursday McConnell (knee) won't play in Thursday's game against Golden State, Desert Wave Media reports.
Impact McConnell had to be carried off the court during Tuesday's game against Minnesota, so it's not a shock to see her sidelined for Thursday's contest. Injury specifics have yet to be provided, and her next chance to play will come Saturday against Seattle. In the meantime, Haley Jones and Alexa Held could see a few more minutes.
JUNE 5 • ROTOWIRE
Sami Whitcomb - Likely to play Thursday Whitcomb is probable for Thursday's game against the Valkyries due to a right foot injury, Desert Wave Media reports.
Impact It's a new injury for Whitcomb after she started in each of the Mercury's eight games to start the 2025 season. While she's still expected to suit up, fantasy managers should keep an eye on her status ahead of Thursday's 10:00 pm EST tipoff.
JUNE 5 • ROTOWIRE
Alyssa Thomas - Still sidelined Thomas (calf) won't play in Thursday's game against Golden State, Desert Wave Media reports.
Impact Thomas will be idle for a fourth consecutive game due to a left calf injury. In her stead, look for Kathryn Westbeld, Kitja Laska and Alexa Held to pick up some additional minutes. Thomas' next chance to play will come Saturday against Seattle.
JUNE 5 • ROTOWIRE
Monique Akoa Makani - Struggles in blowout loss Akoa-Makani contributed four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal over 13 minutes during Tuesday's 88-65 loss to Minnesota.
Impact This game was over in a hurry, and no starter for the Mercury logged more than 25 minutes. Although she's had a couple duds lately, Akoa-Makani is shooting 45.5 percent from the field and from beyond the arc in her debut WNBA season, averaging 9.0 points, 2.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.9 three-pointers.
JUNE 4 • ROTOWIRE
Kitija Laksa - Hits double digits again Laksa chipped in 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt) and one steal over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 88-65 loss to the Lynx.
Impact Laksa has managed 10+ points in each of her past two games, while going for double digits in points in three of the past four appearances. She has proven to be a decent contributor in points, but she doesn't really log many other counting stats. However, she is very valuable for her work from the perimeter, posting 2+ three-pointers in four of the past five contests.
JUNE 4 • ROTOWIRE
Satou Sabally - Struggles with shot in road loss Sabally registered 15 points (6-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 88-65 loss to the Lynx.
Impact Sabally saw her modest three-game run with 20+ points come to an end. She had managed 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals with a blocked shot in her first game against the Lynx on May 30, but her stat line Tuesday in the rematch was a far cry from that production. Still, it wasn't half bad, as she nearly posted a double-double, and extended her streak with at least one steal to five consecutive games.

Megan McConnell - Exits to locker room McConnell was helped to the locker room after sustaining an apparent right knee injury during the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game against the Lynx, freelance Mercury writer Jeff M...
Impact McConnell had to be carried off the court after sustaining the knee injury with 1:43 remaining in the fourth. The 23-year-old guard, who had just signed a rest-of-season contract with the injury-riddled Mercury on Tuesday, shouldn't be expected to return with the game nearing its end. Her status will be something to monitor ahead of Thursday's game against Golden State.
JUNE 4 • ROTOWIRE
Haley Jones - Back in action Tuesday Jones (face) returned to Tuesday's game against the Lynx with 4:37 remaining in the fourth quarter, according to the broadcast.
Impact Jones caught an elbow to the face in the third quarter and exited to the locker room. However, the 24-year-old guard returned wearing a mask and should be good to go the rest of the way.
JUNE 4 • ROTOWIRE
Haley Jones - Exits to locker room vs. Minnesota Jones (face) exited to the locker room with 22.6 seconds remaining in the third quarter of Tuesday's game against the Lynx, according to the broadcast.
Impact Jones appeared to catch an elbow and headed to the locker room with a towel over her face. If the 24-year-old guard is unable to return, Monique Akoa-Makani, Kitija Laksa and Megan McConnell are candidates for a bump in minutes the rest of the way.
JUNE 4 • ROTOWIRE
Kalani Brown - Cleared for Tuesday Brown (knee) is not on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Lynx.
Impact Brown was listed as questionable on the injury report but is good to go Tuesday. The 28-year-old will serve as the primary center off the bench with Natasha Mack (back) sidelined.

Megan McConnell - Rejoins Mercury According to Desert Wave Media, McConnell signed a rest-of-season contract with the Mercury on Tuesday.
Impact The Mercury waived Sevgi Uzun on Monday to clear up a roster spot. McConnell was waived after spending training camp with the Mercury, so she will have some familiarity with the team. A standout player at Duquesne during the 2024-25 campaign, McConnell averaged 18.4 points on 46.8 percent shooting from the field.

JUNE 2 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Brown is listed on the injury report for the first time this season. The center has carved out a consistent role off the bench, averaging 11.5 points and 6.5 rebounds over her past two outings. If Brown is unavailable and with Natasha Mack (back) already ruled out, Murjanatu Musa could be in line for a significant uptick in minutes.
JUNE 2 • ROTOWIRE
Alyssa Thomas - Ruled out for Tuesday Thomas (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lynx, Desert Wave Media reports.
Impact Thomas will miss her third straight game due to a left calf injury. Her next chance to suit up will come Thursday against Golden State. Kathryn Westbeld, Kitija Laksa and Alexa Held are all candidates for an uptick in playing time due to Thomas being sidelined.
JUNE 2 • ROTOWIRE
Natasha Mack - Won't play at EuroBasket According to Desert Wave Media, Mack (back) will not play for Montenegro at EuroBasket.
Impact The Mercury waived Sevgi Uzun on Monday, but the team will not lose any additional players to EuroBasket. Mack is currently sidelined by a back issue that prevented her from playing Sunday against the Sparks.
JUNE 2 • ROTOWIRE
Haley Jones - Sees only four minutes Jones ended with two points (1-1 FG) and one assist in four minutes during Sunday's 85-80 victory over Los Angeles.
Impact Jones made just her first appearance of the season for the Mercury. It's worth mentioning that the Mercury waived Sevgi Uzun on Monday, so it will be interesting to see if Jones has her name called more often by the coaching staff.

Impact Westbeld combined with Sami Whitcomb to knock down six total three-points in the road victory. In fact, all five starters were good for at least two three-pointers, as the Mercury were firing on all cylinders against the Sparks. Westbeld has hit at least one three-pointer in all seven games, averaging 1.8 three-pointer per game while hitting 39.3 percent from behind the arc.
JUNE 2 • ROTOWIRE
