Welinton Herrera - Battling elbow inflammation The Rockies placed Herrera on the 15-day injured list Saturday with left elbow inflammation.

Impact Herrera pitched just one-third of an inning during his last outing Friday and seems to have picked up an elbow injury in the process. He'll remain on the shelf until at least June 14, and his place on the active roster will go to Ryan Feltner (elbow), who was reinstated from the IL to start Saturday's game against San Francisco.

Ryan Feltner - Set to return Saturday Feltner (elbow) is expected to start Saturday's game against the Giants, MLB.com reports.

Impact Feltner has been sidelined since April 24 but is ready to return after making two rehab assignments. He worked 5.0 innings in his last outing with Triple-A Albuquerque, so he should be able to handle a relatively normal workload. The Rockies will still need to activate Feltner before Saturday's contest to make the move official.

Freeman has hit .265 with two RBI and three runs scored in that span, and he's also in the midst of a four-game hitting streak. Freeman has occupied the second spot in the lineup in four of the last five contests, giving him some run-scoring upside if he continues to reach base at a strong clip.

Ezequiel Tovar - Two homers in win Friday Tovar went 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI, one walk, a stolen base and three runs scored in Friday's 8-6 win over the Giants.

Impact Tovar stuffed the stat sheet in a big way during the come-from-behind win. He walked and stole home in the second inning, belted a two-run homer in the eighth and then swatted a walk-off, two-run homer in the ninth. They were Tovar's third and fourth homers of the season. It's been a tough month at the plate for Tovar, whose average bottomed out at .186 on May 6. Since then, he's 18-for-62 (.290) with three home runs, 11 RBI, eight runs scored, two stolen bases and a 6:14 BB:K across 19 games. He's pushed his season average to .220 with a .614 OPS in what has been a disappointing 2026 campaign for the 24-year-old shortstop. Tovar has an ugly second-percentile 43.9 percent chase rate.

Hunter Goodman - Belts 13th homer in comeback win Goodman went 2-for-4 with a double, a three-run homer and one walk in Friday's 8-6 win over the Giants.

Impact With the Rockies trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Goodman came up with two on and swatted a towering three-run homer to tie the game off Giants closer Caleb Kilian. It was Goodman's 13th homer of the season and second in his last three games after he snapped a nine-game drought without a long ball. Goodman doesn't hit for average, but he swings hard and hits the ball hard when he does make contact. He entered Friday in the first percentile in chase rate (44.2 percent) and second percentile in strikeout rate (35.2 percent). On the year, Goodman is slashing .244/.307/.487 with 13 home runs, 23 RBI, 32 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 14:75 BB:K across 215 trips to the plate.
