Matthew Highmore - Earns trio of helpers Highmore notched three assists in AHL Bridgeport's 5-1 win over Hartford on Sunday.

Impact Highmore had recently gone nine games without a point, but he has two helpers over his last four contests. The veteran forward has put together a decent campaign with 20 points over 34 outings this season. If he can continue to play well, he could be a call-up option later in the season.

Impact George has battled injuries a couple of times this season, with his three points Sunday representing his first contribution since Dec. 13. The Islanders have plenty of blue-line depth at the NHL level, so the 21-year-old George is likely to spend most of the campaign working on his development.

Impact DeAngelo has six points and a plus-7 rating over five contests in January. That's already better than the four assists he put up in all of December. The 30-year-old blueliner is up to 19 points, 80 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 33 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 45 appearances this season, matching his scoring output from 35 outings in 2024-25. He doesn't have as much room to operate now that Matthew Schaefer is leading the Islanders' blue line, but DeAngelo is still scoring enough to help in fantasy.

Impact Cizikas tied the game with 26 seconds left in the second period, and that goal ultimately forced overtime. Holmstrom's still in a middle-six role, but his momentum on offense has him trending in the right direction.

Impact Sorokin was tested pretty heavily once again, but the Islanders were able to answer each of the Wild's goals. Simon Holmstrom secured the win for the Isles at 1:34 of overtime, giving Sorokin his second victory in a row since he returned from a lower-body injury. The 30-year-old netminder is up to 14-10-2 with a 2.47 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 26 starts. Those are his best marks in three years, and he has helped guide the Islanders to second in the Metropolitan Division. Sorokin is likely to get the nod again Tuesday in Winnipeg.
