Derrick Coleman surprises twin fans with Super Bowl tickets
Derrick Coleman certainly knows how to make dreams come true.
Coleman, the first legally deaf player in NFL history, will suit up for Seattle in Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVIII on FOX — and his two biggest fans will be there to see him in action.
Erin and Riley Kovalcik, 9-year-old twins who are also hearing impaired, got a special surprise when Coleman, who played at Troy High School in Fullerton and UCLA, rewarded the pair with tickets to the big game on ‘Good Morning America.’
The twins were able to muster "really?" and "seriously?" before eventually giving their hero a hug and "thank you."
Last week, the story of Coleman and the Kovalcik girls trading letters warmed the hearts of many football fans.
