What do Ndamukong Suh, the Jersey Shore’s Pauly D and a Jonas brother have in common?
Summer plans, for starters.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Suh has signed on to be a participant on FOX’s new reality dating show, “The Choice,” along with a bevy of other celebrities.
The show will attempt to pair celebrities with non-famous prospective dates. It will follow the mold of NBC’s “The Voice,” in that it will feature four celebrities on stage at a time, all facing the opposite direction of their prospective date.
Set to air on Thursdays beginning on June 7, the show will
also feature former NFL players Warren Sapp and Jeremy Bloom.
Suh has been fond of the camera since he was selected second overall by the Lions in the 2010 draft. He participated in the televised Gumball 3000 last year, a road race across Europe, before making appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and the AFC Championship Game edition of “The NFL Today” this year.
Before his polarizing play in 2011, including his infamous Thanksgiving Day stomp of Green Bay’s Evan Dietrich-Smith, Suh was one of the most well-liked and well-endorsed players in the NFL. Now he’s considered by many to be a villain in the league — not somebody a girl would necessarily take home to meet the parents.
