Report: Goran Dragic (calf strain) to be reevaluated in a week

Published Jan. 15, 2016 10:53 a.m. ET

Goran Dragic underwent an MRI on Thursday, and though the examination didn't return the best news, it also didn't bring back the worst.

From Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports:

Dragic has already missed the Heat's past two games: Monday's loss in Golden State and Wednesday's defeat at the hands of the Clippers. If he is reevaluated a week from Thursday, that means he stands to miss at least Miami's next four games: Friday at Denver, Sunday at Oklahoma City, Tuesday vs. Milwaukee and Wednesday at Washington.

Dragic is having a down season, averaging 12.3 points and 5.0 assists, but had started to pick his play up of late, shooting 54 percent from the field and 50 percent from long range over his previous 10 games played.
