Brandon Marshall: I should be 'walking back to New York' after drop
For much of the game, it looked like the New York Jets had a real shot at knocking off the New England Patriots in Foxboro. Unfortunately, they were unable to overcome missed opportunities as they fell 30-23.
While the Patriots had their fair share of dropped passes in the game, the Jets did as well. One of the key plays came on a dropped pass by Brandon Marshall that would have gone for a touchdown. It was a beautifully thrown back-shoulder pass to Marshall to the pylon, but Marshall was unable to haul it in for what proved to be a huge missed opportunity.
"I didn't make the play," Marshall said after the game. "You have to make those plays in games like this, so it's all on me."
He wasn't done there, though. Marshall took to Twitter as he frequently does to rip himself for the drop and say he doesn't deserve a flight back to New York.
My A** should be walking back to New York. How you bounce back after moments like this produce CHAMPIONS or CHUMPS.. . #jets

Marshall wasn't the only one to make a mistake in this one, but it was quite possibly the biggest one. In order to beat the Patriots, you typically have to be perfect and mistake-free. The Jets were not, and it showed in the scoreboard as they fell to 4-2 on the season.
