Nuggets can't get anyone to bite on a Ty Lawson deal

Michael Malone, in his introductory press conference, said he expects roster changes before the start of next season. The most likely candidate to be traded is Ty Lawson, whose relationship with the franchise dissolved after last season. There's just one problem for the Nuggets and Lawson: no one wants to deal. ESPN's Chad Ford has more:

"Nuggets have been trying to make that deal (Lawson for the Kings' sixth pick) regardless, but so far they can't get Kings (or anyone else for that matter) to bite on Lawson."

Lawson started the year off great, but some off the court issues – including a DUI – hurt his value with both the Nuggets and other teams who may have wanted to trade for him. When he's on, he's one of the most underrated point guards in the league. When he's off, though, he'll hurt the team more than help. It appears few, if any, teams are betting on Lawson being "on" if they acquire him.
