Miami freshman Hunter Knighton released from hospital
University of Miami redshirt freshman offensive lineman Hunter Knighton has been released from the hospital after two weeks.
Knighton, who was reportedly unconscious following a workout on Feb. 26, had been taken to UM Hospital. His family had been with him. Further details have not been released.
The 6-foot-6, 278-pounder, a former three-star recruit, missed the 2013 season after shoulder surgery.
"To everyone who has been praying the past few weeks thank you," Knighton said in a Facebook statement. "I’m finally out of the hospital. Especially thanks to best family, coaches, doctors and support group for getting me this far."
