FOX Sports Wisconsin’s Temple named top 10 beat writer in nation
For the second straight year, FOX Sports Wisconsin’s Jesse Temple has been named one of the top 10 beat writers in the country by the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE).
In addition, Temple was once again the only Wisconsin sportswriter to be so honored. He and Benjamin Hochman of The Denver Post are the only writers who were also on last year’s list.
The APSE awards are considered among the most prestigious in the business. Temple was is in the category of over 175,000 circulation, the largest category among the awards.
This year’s top 10 includes writers from The New York Times and Boston Globe, among others. A top 5 is awarded later in the year.
