NT Pickett out for Packers against Bears

Published Dec. 17, 2009 7:01 a.m. ET

Green Bay Packers nose tackle Ryan Pickett was inactive for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears with a hamstring injury.

The Bears, meanwhile, were without wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester, who injured his calf in last week's victory over the St. Louis Rams. Chicago veteran offensive tackle Orlando Pace was also sidelined for a second straight game with a groin injury.

Pickett, the veteran run stuffer of Green Bay's defense, pulled his hamstring while chasing Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco late in the Packers' 27-14 win Monday night. B.J. Raji was to start in his place.

Hester, who leads the Bears with 54 catches, was replaced at wide receiver by Devin Aromashodu. Chris Williams shifted to left tackle for the second straight game in place of Pace. Kevin Shaffer started at right tackle for Chicago.
