Kansas City Chiefs lock up OLB Justin Houston with six-year deal
The Chiefs locked up their superstar sackmaster with a massive long-term deal that eclipses J.J. Watt's.
Outside linebacker Justin Houston agreed to a six-year contract extension worth $101 million. The deal reportedly contains $52.5 million in guaranteed money.
Blessed to sign contract with the KC Chiefs. Thanks to my family #1 & my agents Joel Segal & @gbo74 for the awesome contract!

Houston's new contract is the richest deal in team history for any linebacker. It's also the second-largest deal handed out to any defender this offseason, eclipsed only by Ndamukong Suh's deal with the Dolphins.
That's a steep, but necessary price to keep their player off the market in 2015 and beyond. Instead, Houston will stay in Kansas City as he tries to top his 22-sack campaign in 2014.
