The Miami Dolphins signed safety Jonathon Amaya and linebacker Mike Rivera on Tuesday, waiving tackle Ray Feinga and safety Troy Nolan.

Amaya returns to the Dolphins after being part of the team's trade with New Orleans for Reggie Bush in 2011. He played in all 16 games for the Saints last season, after playing in 10 for the Dolphins as a rookie in 2010.

Rivera also returns for a second stint with the Dolphins. He was signed by Miami in December 2010, staying until just before the start of the 2011 regular season.

Rivera played in two games with New England earlier this season, getting cut on Sept. 19.
