Here is the Wednesday injury report for the game between the Buccaneers and San Diego Chargers.

Time for the stretch run for the Buccaneers. The speculation has begun. Can the Bucs complete this run and return to the playoffs for the first time since 2007? As Russell Baxter of NFL Spin Zone pointed out, they are certainly playing like a playoff team.
The offense has cut down on mistakes, and the defense is playing lights out. The Bucs are rapidly becoming a team that nobody wants to face. Can it continue? We shall see.
It starts on Sunday in San Diego. So with that, we have the first injury report of the week.
First, for the Bucs:
Player | No. | Pos. | Injury | Wednesday |
Chris Conte | 23 | S | Chest | Did Not Participate |
Mike Evans | 13 | WR | Not Injury Related | Did Not Participate |
Gerald McCoy | 93 | DT | Foot | Did Not Participate |
Brandon Myers | 82 | TE | Hip | Limited Participation |
Jacquizz Rodgers | 32 | RB | Foot | Full Participation |
Evan Smith | 62 | C | Knee | Did Not Participate |
Ryan Smith | 29 | S | Shoulder | Limited Participation |
This isn’t bad. I took a deep breath too when I saw Evans on the list, but it wasn’t injury related. With Major Wright re-signed, it sounds like they don’t expect Conte to be able to play. We will track the situation with McCoy as the week progresses.
Now, the report for the Chargers:
Player | No. | Pos. | Injury | Wednesday |
Jerry Attaochu | 97 | OLB | Foot | Did Not Participate |
Jatavis Brown | 57 | ILB | Knee | Did Not Participate |
Asante Cleveland | 45 | TE | Concussion/Knee | Full Participation |
Brandon Flowers | 24 | CB | Concussion | Did Not Participate |
Dwight Lowery | 20 | S | Hand | Full Participation |
Tenny Palepoi | 95 | DT | Shoulder | Limited Participation |
Tyrell Williams | 16 | WR | Shoulder | Did Not Participate |
It’s early to make any determinations on this list, and we will follow the situations as the week progresses.
Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fun December.
