Browns vs. Cowboys: Inactives, live game thread

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The Cleveland Browns are still looking for a win as the Dallas Cowboys head to town with a dominant offense and a 6-1 record.

It has been a tough week for Cleveland sports fans, and things may not get any easier as the Dallas Cowboys are set to take on the Browns this afternoon.

The bright spot from this game will be the Browns debut of Jamie Collins, who is expected to start after being traded from the New England Patriots earlier this week.

He will join a defense that has been struggling all season, so hopefully he can make any sort of difference against an explosive Dallas offense.

The Browns are beginning to get over the injuries that have plagued the team all season, evident in today’s inactives.

It is nice to see Corey Coleman‘s name off that list, as he will return to action for the first time since Week 2, when he had flashes of excellence against the Baltimore Ravens.

Joe Haden will also be in the lineup today, remaining a member of the team after his name was linked to trade rumors leading up to this past week’s deadline. Some may have wanted him to be traded for draft picks, but he now has the opportunity to prove he is the same dominant player fans fell in love with since he came to Cleveland.

He, along with the rest of the Browns secondary, will face a tough task against the Cowboys, although they could surprise us all.

We are still holding out hope for a Browns victory so as they attempt to pick up their first win of the season, be sure to comment on this post to get the conversation going throughout today’s game. It could be another tough Sunday afternoon, but this team has surprised us before, so anything is possible.
