The Los Angeles Sparks took a 1-0 lead over the Minnesota Lynx in the Best-of-5 WNBA Finals on the road Sunday, as guard Alana Beard drilled a shot from the corner as time expired to break a 76-76 tie. Chelsea Gray drove into the lane and drew a second defender, leaving her fellow former Duke Blue Devil open for a split-second. The basket was initially scored a 3-pointer, but Beard had a foot on the line as she shot the ball.
