Basketball is coming back to The Q.

It will only be a scrimmage but when you have the offseason the Cleveland Cavaliers did this may just be the most interesting simulated game to hit the court in awhile.

The Cavs’ annual Wine & Gold Scrimmage at Quicken Loans Arena will happen on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. and fans will have the chance to go for free.

Tickets for the event (up to six per person) become available Friday at 10 a.m. using Flash Seats, the Cavs’ electronic ticketing system, and are limited . All seating for the event is general admission.

Cavs head coach will put together two teams made up of current roster players that will take the court for two 20-minute halves.

Doors open for the event, which will include additional fan-centered activities, at 5:30 p.m.

You’ll also be able to watch the scrimmage on cavs.com/live.
