Roddy White's confidence not wavering heading into 2015

Sure, Roddy White isn't the same playmaker he used to be, as he's currently 33. With that said, White's confidence is still at an all-time high heading into the year. According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN, White also isn't concerned about losing his title as a "starter" in Atlanta's new-look offense.

"It always happens like that when new coaches come in: There's always going to be someone else that they like and that they want to put in to see what he can do. There are going to be times when he's in the game, and I'm not in the game. I'm not going to see myself as not being a starter. I am definitely the starter." White told ESPN.

On top of that, McClure explains that White feels like he's more than capable of replicating what he's done throughout his entire career. Simply put, the veteran receiver knows he can win one-on-one matchups and create big plays for Matt Ryan and this offense.

"I know I can still do something in this league, and I know I can still go out there and win one-on-one battles," White said. "I've been doing that for the last six, seven, eight, nine years for this team, and I plan on that being my role."

White's going to have a big role, especially since Julio Jones is still lined up across from him. Will his numbers take a hit in 2015? You'd probably be crazy to bet against Roddy, regardless of his age.
