So, he followed it -- and told Peyton Manning he better be ready for a second-half appearance in relief of Brock Osweiler.

Osweiler's performance didn't really merit a Kubiak switcheroo. His offensive line missed assignments, his receivers dropped balls, and a few unlucky breaks led to big interceptions.
