Packers backup LB Neal leaves with knee injury

Published Oct. 21, 2012 3:25 p.m. ET

Green Bay Packers backup linebacker Mike Neal was sidelined in the second quarter with a knee injury. The team said his return was questionable.

Neal, a second-round pick in 2010, had three tackles the first two games. He's a backup on a line already minus tackle B.J. Raji.

Neal was suspended the first four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
