Eagles' Vick expected to start

Published Oct. 25, 2013 1:00 a.m. ET

Michael Vick has been listed as probable and is expected to start when the Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants on Sunday.

Vick has missed the last two games after an injury to his left hamstring in the first half of a win at the Giants on Oct. 6. Backup Nick Foles, who sustained a concussion last week, was ruled out on Friday. Rookie Matt Barkley will be the No. 2 quarterback for the Eagles (3-4) against New York (1-6).

Vick has thrown for 1,185 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions, and has 307 yards rushing and two more scores.

Jake Knott, a special teams player, also is out with a hamstring injury. Safety Patrick Chung (shoulder) and defensive end Cedric Thornton (knee) are questionable.
