Dolphins C Mike Pouncey carted to locker room with foot injury
For the second time in less than a full quarter, the Miami Dolphins had one of their players carted off the field. First, it was linebacker Chris McCain. Now, it's stud center Mike Pouncey.
Pouncey was taken to the locker room on a cart in the fourth quarter after suffering a foot injury. His return is questionable, but the fact that the Dolphins are eliminated from playoff contention and getting blown out by the San Diego Chargers doesn't help his chances of coming back into the game.
He had his foot rolled up on and was unable to put any pressure on his leg. He suffered a foot injury last month, as well, but it's not clear if it's a re-injury or a new one.
Jamil Douglas took over for Pouncey at center and helped rookie Jay Ajayi score the first touchdown of his career on the following play.
