Chiefs' offensive line could use another emergency remodel

Published Nov. 30, 2015 6:15 p.m. ET

The Chiefs already chopped up their starting offensive line once this season.

They need to do it again in Week 13 -- this time, out of necessity. Both left tackle Eric Fisher (neck) and center Mitch Morse (concussion) were forced out of action on Sunday against the Bills.

Tackle Jeff Allen (ankle) also popped in and out of the starting lineup. He could miss action, too.

One injury to second-stringers like Zach Fulton or Donald Stephenson could be nightmares now. The Chiefs might need to call up backups for their backups.

Then again, Alex Smith only took one sack on Sunday. Spencer Ware ran wild for 113 yards. It might not matter who the Chiefs put up front to block these days.
