AP source: Bills agree to sign fullback Jerome Felton

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) A person familiar with the negotiations has told The Associated Press the Buffalo Bills have agreed to sign free-agent fullback Jerome Felton.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity Tuesday because the contract terms have not yet been completed, and the Bills have not yet announced the deal reached on the first day of the NFL's signing period.

Felton spent the past three seasons in Minnesota. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2008 draft by Detroit, and spent three seasons with the Lions.

He also split the 2011 season with Carolina and Indianapolis.

Felton is the latest addition to a run-oriented offense being introduced by new coach Rex Ryan. Felton joins a retooled backfield led by LeSean McCoy, who was acquired in a trade with Philadelphia last week.
