Paul Pierce tweets vicious Warriors burn after Draymond Green's trash talk

We pray the basketball gods bestow a Clippers-Warriors playoff series upon us this season.

Though their days as equals are long gone, those two teams continued their tense feud in an epic game on Thursday. Golden State stole the show with 50 points in the third quarter, yet the night got off to a hot start when Draymond Green ripped Paul Pierce with some Kobe Bryant-themed trash talk, telling the future Hall of Famer he's just "chasing that farewell tour."

The Warriors added injury to Green's insult with a 123-113 win, but that didn't stop Pierce from responding on Twitter in the wee hours of Friday morning:
