INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have put right guard Matt Slauson on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury.

Slauson started each of the Colts' first five games after signing as a free agent in March.

Indy replaced the veteran by signing center-guard Evan Boehm off the Los Angeles Rams' practice squad. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Boehm has played in 31 games, starting nine, over his first three seasons in the league, and was originally Arizona' fourth-round draft pick in 2016. He played his first two seasons with the Cardinals.

Slauson was a sixth-round draft pick of the New York Jets in the 2009 draft and has played with the San Diego and Los Angeles Chargers, Chicago Bears and the Jets, who the Colts visit Sunday.
