Heat to assign Zoran Dragic to D-League affiliate

Zoran Dragic has appeared in two games for the Heat since being traded from Phoenix.

MIAMI — The Miami Heat announced Thursday they will assign guard Zoran Dragic to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, their NBA Development League affiliate.

Dragic was acquired along with his brother, Goran, in a three-team trade with the Phoenix Suns and the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 19.

He has appeared in two games for Heat this season.

Shabazz Napier, Tyler Johnson, Hassan Whiteside, and Henry Walker have each spent time with the Skyforce. Training camp participants Khem Birch, Shawn Jones and Andre Dawkins are current Skyforce players.
