Receiver DeSean Jackson finally shows up to Redskins' OTAs

A lot was made of receiver DeSean Jackson's decision to skip the Washington Redskins' first set of OTAs last week. Now, as the team gathered for practice on Tuesday to kick of their second set of OTAs, Jackson is back in action.

Jackson is coming off a strong debut season with the Redskins, having averaged 20.9 yards per reception, the second-highest mark of his career. He racked up 1,169 receiving yards and six touchdowns in the process of emerging as the Redskins' No. 1 option in the passing game.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden has hinted that the offense will resemble a more balanced approach in the passing game this season, but Jackson remains the best weapon on offense. If Robert Griffin can show improved footwork and understanding of the offense in year two of Gruden's scheme, Jackson should be able to repeat his stellar production from 2014.
