Madden 16 rates Aaron Donald as top 5 defensive tackle

Published Jul. 29, 2015 7:27 p.m. ET

Just after his rookie season, Aaron Donald is already being recognized as one of the top players at his position.

It's no surprise that Madden 16 has him ranked the No. 5 defensive tackle (92 rating), alongside the likes of Ndamukong Suh (96), Gerald McCoy (95), Marcell Dareus (94) and Kyle Williams (93).

Donald won the 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year after recording 47 tackles, nine sacks and two forced fumbles. He was also one of three rookies to be voted to the 2015 Pro Bowl.

Per Madden: "The reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year should be even better in year two. His Madden NFL 16 ratings include 93 Strength, 90 TAK/92 PWM/90 PUR with a DT-best 82 Speed."

The Rams boast one of - if not the best - the best defensive fronts in the league. And it's scary to think how much better Donald can be moving forward.
