Veteran offensive line coach George DeLeone is expected to become the new running game coordinator for Temple, a source told FOX Sports Friday.

The 67-year-old DeLeone, one of the game's most respected line coaches, is a veteran coach of 43 seasons who has spent 37 years coaching on the collegiate level and six in the NFL, the past two as assistant line coach with the Browns. He and Owls head coach Matt Rhule coached together as assistants a decade ago at Temple. DeLeone has coached in 12 bowl games, including the Fiesta, Sugar, Gator and Orange bowls.

The hire was first reported by SI.com.
