Moss' daughter makes verbal commitment
The daughter of NFL wide receiver Randy Moss has made a verbal commitment to play basketball at the University of Florida, the St. Petersburg Times reported Tuesday.
Sydney Moss, a junior at Boone County High School in Kentucky, will take her talents to Gainesville in 2012.
The 5-foot-11 power forward averaged 22.6 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore.
According to the Times, Sydney Moss chose the Gators over Louisville, Dayton, West Virginia, Xavier and Kansas.
While Sydney Moss' future is set, her father's next NFL destination remains uncertain. The seven-time Pro Bowler is currently a free agent.
Moss, 34, played for three different teams during the 2010-11 season — his 13th year in the league. It is rumored he hopes to return to New England, where he earned his last Pro Bowl berth in 2009.
