DeMarco Murray praises Tim Tebow

Since he arrived in Philadelphia, there has been nothing but praise for Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow. After the Eagles' spring practices, head coach Chip Kelly praised Tebow for the major progress he has made as a passer.

Running back DeMarco Murray has joined Kelly in his praise of Tebow, who he called "a good player", according to USA Today. “A very hardworking guy,” Murray added. “He comes to work every day ready to compete, and that’s what you can expect from him.”

Tebow's work ethic has never been in question, but there is a newfound buzz surrounding Tebow's game. The veteran quarterback worked with former MLB pitcher Tom House this offseason. House helped him rework his mechanics.

Tebow will enter the Eagles' training camp in a quarterback battle that is murky to say the least. Projected starter Sam Bradford was seen limping throughout the Eagles' spring practices, and although he claims he will be healthy for camp, that remains to be seen. Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley have struggled at times throughout their careers, and their spots on the quarterback depth chart are ripe for the picking. The quarterback battle could become the Eagles' most entertaining camp showdown.
