Buccaneers at Cardinals: Wednesday Injury Report

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Time for week two, and that means the Wednesday injury report for the game between the Buccaneers and the Falcons.

Week two and the Buccaneers head to the desert to face Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals. We know the win the Bucs enter the game with, a big one over the Falcons. The Cardinals enter the game looking for their first win after losing to New England last week. They will be looking to right the ship before falling to 0-2.

With that, we get to the injury reports. It’s early and things can change, but here is the first report of the week for Sunday’s game.

    First for the Bucs:

    Player No. Pos. Injury Wednesday
Devante Bond 59 LB Hamstring Full Participation
Lavonte David 54 LB Shoulder Full Participation
Adarius Glanton 53 LB Knee Limited Participation
Ryan Smith 29 S Hand Full Participation

There isn’t a lot for us to talk about here, as it seems like everybody is up and ready to go. Every NFL team should be so lucky.

Now for the host team, the Cardinals:

    Player No. Pos. Injury Wednesday
Justin Bethel 28 CB Foot Full Participation
Drew Butler 2 P Left Ankle Full Participation
Larry Fitzgerald 11 WR Knee Limited Participation
Kareem Martin 96 LB Knee Did Not Participate
Evan Mathis 69 G Foot Did Not Participate
J.J. Nelson 14 WR Shoulder Did Not Participate
Frostee Rucker 92 DT Knee Did Not Participate
Stepfan Taylor 30 RB Knee Limited Participation

Now we have some interesting information. The biggest name on there is obviously Fitzgerald.  He looked fantastic on Sunday against the Patriots, and it would be great for Tampa if he couldn’t go. The reports will be more telling as the week goes along and we will follow his status right here for you.

The other name is Evan Mathis who sat out practice.  As a starting guard, we will monitor him on Thursday and Friday as well.
