Watch: Colin Kaepernick throws 53-yard TD pass for first score of season

49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick got his team on the board quickly in his first start of the season on Sunday. 

Early in the second quarter, Kapernick found a wide-open Torrey Smith for a 53-yard touchdown pass. It was his first touchdown since Oct. 18 of last year. 

The score gave the Niners an early 10–7 lead over the Bills.
