Report: Atlanta Falcons 'most interested' in Isaiah Battle
When Clemson offensive tackle Isaiah Battle chose to enter the NFL's Supplement Draft, it caught the attention of quite a few people. Apparently, Battle stated that he "has some family matters to address," while also explaining that he has a child on the way, according to NFL Trade Rumors.
In that same story, the site explains that there's a report out stating that the Atlanta Falcons are the team "most interested" in selecting Battle in the Supplemental Draft.
"According to Mark Eckel of the Newark-Star Ledger, a personnel executive for one NFC team revealed that the Falcons are the “most interested” team in selecting Clemson OT Isaiah Battle in the NFL’s Supplemental Draft on July 9."
There's a strong chance that Battle gets selected, but in which round is the real question. He's set to hold a Pro Day at the University of Clemson on July 7, which could boost his stock quite a bit heading into the draft.
