Minnesota Vikings to host Taste of the NFL as well as other delicious events
The state of Minnesota will be home to some great events in 2017, including Taste of the NFL and Taste of the Minnesota Vikings.
Taste of the NFL has become a regular part of Super Bowl weekend. Since the Minnesota Vikings are hosting Super Bowl 52 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, it is natural the next stop for the event will be in Minnesota.
At the Taste of the NFL events, each team has a player representing them as well a chef who shares a dish that is well-known for their region. This means there will be a lot of variety when it comes to the flavors on hand for people to taste.
Recently, the Star Tribune confirmed that Taste of the NFL would indeed be coming to Minnesota, but the roots are much deeper in the land of 10,000 lakes than many know.
More from The Viking Age
The event itself was a creation of Twin Cities restaurateur Wayne Kostroski at the Super Bowl in 1992. Auctions are held with the purpose of raising funds to stock food shelves to help those in need.
For Super Bowl 51, Randall McDaniel represented the team with Thomas Boemer and Nick Rancone serving up fried chicken livers. It will be interesting to see who gets the honors at Super Bowl 52.
In addition to Taste of the NFL, there will be a new event being held in Minnesota titled Taste of the Minnesota Vikings. It is scheduled for June, but the details have not been released about the dates, times, or festivities.
Expect the Minnesota Vikings as well as the entire state to go all-out when it comes to events for Super Bowl 52. However, when it is a great cause with delicious implications for those in attendance, it’s hard to go wrong with either of these tasty events.
