Kirby Smart and Georgia continue to land impressive targets on the recruiting trail, as five-star tight end Isaac Nauta of IMG high school committed to play for the Bulldogs during the U.S. Army All American high school game Saturday. Nauta picked the Dawgs over Florida and Michigan.

“I want to thank God for all the opportunities he’s blessed me with and say thank you to all three of these head coaches and the coaching staffs that have stuck with me all this way but at the end of the day, but I’m staying home,” Nauta said during the broadcast as he picked up a UGA hat.

“Going down to IMG (in Florida) that was the thing that really made me realize how important it is for me to be home."

Once a Florida State commit, Nauta is rated as the nation's top prospect at the tight end position according to 247Sports. Georgia's future offense was well represented Saturday, as five-star quarterback commit Jacob Eason and five-star offensive lineman Ben Cleveland also played in the game.

Nauta was in attendance for Nike's 2015 The Opening camp and was able to show off his athleticism going up against several of his fellow elite prospects. If both players live up to the hype, Georgia fans can expect the Eason to Nauta connection to be a great one for Athens for years to come.
