Dallas Wilson - Doesn't practice out of precaution
Wilson (foot) did not practice Tuesday out of "an abundance of caution," the team announced.
Impact
While Wilson was held on the sidelines for Tuesday's practice, the Gators said the sophomore wide receiver would have been able to play if Florida had a game Tuesday. Wilson underwent season-ending foot surgery in 2025, which is why the team is taking a cautious approach. He caught 12 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns across four appearances as a true freshman.

Eric Singleton Jr. - Expected to compete for first team
Singleton is expected to compete against TJ Abrams for first-team reps, Zach Abolverdi of On3.com reports.
Impact
Singleton reunites with Buster Faulkner, offensive coordinator for the wide receiver's 2023 and 2024 seasons, both in which he logged at least 700 receiving yards and several touchdowns. The wideout's resume also includes SEC experience from last season, during which he recorded 58 receptions (on 82 targets) for 534 yards and three TDs.

TJ Abrams - Hoping to log first-team reps
Abrams is expected to compete against Eric Singleton for first-team reps, Zach Abolverdi of On3.com reports.
Impact
Even with an impressive 2025 and Florida's 2026 coaching haul, the coaching haul, Abrams will re-enroll there for his third season of collegiate football. During his second season, he logged 14 receptions (on 21 targets) for 202 yards, 14.4 averaged per catch. Abrams' statistical output earns him an opportunity to compete for more reps against Singleton, who excelled for Georgia Tech under offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner, now the Florida team's OC. The two wideouts' spring competition will be a tough one to win out.

Kahleil Jackson - Will take starting reps in spring
Jackson will take starting reps in the spring, Zach Abolverdi of On3.com reports.
Impact
Dallas Wilson (foot) remaining out presents a golden opportunity for Jackson to log first-team reps. After being granted a medical waiver for 2026, his focus shifts to getting back to his old ways. Before only a 13-yard reception across his last two seasons, Jackson's 2023 campaign saw him record 21 catches with 251 yards and one touchdown.

Dallas Wilson - Limited to begin spring
Wilson (foot) is limited to begin spring ball, Zach Abolverdi of On3.com reports.
Impact
For 2025, Wilson underwent season-ending surgery on his right foot and will redshirt the year. However, he recovered from said injury and is dealing with a new one on the same foot. On the plus side, Wilson is not out long-term, so there is at least a slight chance he becomes available before the summer. If not, that is the next time Wilson can test his injured foot.

Tramell Jones Jr. - Competing for starting job
Jones will compete against Aaron Philo for Florida's starting job during the spring, Zach Abolverdi of On3.com reports.
Impact
By re-enrolling at Florida, Jones may be rewarded for his decision by becoming a primary quarterback for an SEC team. It is worth noting that his choice comes amid a coaching haul, which includes offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner from Georgia Tech. Philo followed the OC and presents Jones a legitimate challenge with his multiple years of experience.

Aaron Philo - In race for QB1
Philo will compete against Tramell Jones for Florida's starting job in the spring, Zach Abolverdi of On3.com reports.
Impact
By following offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner from Georgia Tech to Florida, Philo established himself as a top contender for Florida's starting quarterback. The role is not confirmed to be his though, as he will have to compete with Jones, the best QB that UF retained despite the Gators' coaching haul this offseason.

Kahleil Jackson - Returning for another season
Jackson has been granted a medical hardship for return for the 2026 season, Kevin Brockway of The Gainesville Sun reports.
Impact
Jackson has been granted further eligibility after playing in just one game this season due to a knee injury. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver has played in just two games in the Gators' last two seasons. He'll take a 24-307-1 career statline across four years into his fifth collegiate campaign.
