Updated Mar. 4, 2020 10:44 p.m. ET

NEW YORK (AP) Nik Popovic tipped in a missed layup by Ky Bowman with two-tenths of a second remaining Monday night to lift Boston College to a 72-71 win over Auburn in the Under Armour Reunion at Madison Square Garden.

The Eagles (5-5) went the length of the court with 7.5 seconds left and Bowman drove the lane, missing the layup.

Popovic got through multiple defenders to give Eagles their win and a fitting conclusion as Boston College held a commanding 49-32 edge on the glass to help overcome 22 turnovers.

The game ended when Danjel Purifoy's inbounds pass eluded Mustapha Heron.
