Canisius beats Youngstown 90-84

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) Kassius Robertson hit four 3-pointers and scored 27 points to help Canisius beat Youngstown State 90-84 on Saturday to end a two-game losing streak.

It was the 200th career win for Canisius coach Reggie Witherspoon.

Canisius opened the second half on a 10-4 run to take a 51-39 lead. Youngstown State pulled to 82-75 after Brett Frantz's 3-pointer and Rahim Williams' dunk, but Kiefer Douse and Malik Johnson combined to make 6 of 6 free throws in the final 40 seconds to seal it.

Phil Valenti had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Youngstown (3-4). Douse finished with 16 points and Jermaine Crumpton had 12 points.

Francisco Santiago led Canisius (2-4) with 23 points and tied a career-high with 11 assists. Cameron Morse added 15 points on 6-of-20 shooting and Frantz scored 11.
