Austin Seferian-Jenkins hopes to return, but wants to be 100 percent

While Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins has missed the last five games with a shoulder injury, he's badly hoping to get back into the action this Sunday against the New York Giants.

The good news? Seferian-Jenkins is making sure that if he gets out there to play, that he's at 100 percent and can help this team win games, according to Greg Auman of The Tampa Bay Times.

"You have to make sure you're 100 percent. You've got to go back out there feeling you can do what you did when you left," he told The Tampa Bay Times. "I don't want to go out there and not give my teammates what they deserve out of me when I'm out there. They deserve that, the coaches deserve that and the fans deserve that."

It's obviously been tough on Seferian-Jenkins, who wants to be out there helping the Buccaneers get wins, as he told Auman.

"I want to get back out there, regardless if those guys are down or up," he said. "I want to be playing football. This is what I do. This is what I love. Not to be out there really (stinks)."

There's a strong reason to believe that the young tight end could be back this week, but it's going to be a wait and see game as we get closer to the weekend.
