The New England Patriots have re-signed offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka and added quarterback Brett Ratliff to their practice squad.

The Patriots acquired Ojinnaka in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons on Aug. 23 and released him on Sept. 30 before he played a game for them. The Falcons had drafted him in the fifth round in 2006 out of Syracuse.

Ratliff was released from the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad on Sept. 27 after spending time with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns. The Jets signed him in May 2007 as a rookie free agent out of Utah. He was on their practice squad that entire season and their third quarterback in 2008. He was Cleveland's third quarterback for most of the 2009 season before being waived on Sept. 4.
